My name is Steven Aguilera and I am the School Services Provider for students who receive Westlake Services. I have a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University in Secondary Education with concentrations in History, Sociology and Psychology as well as minors in Latin American Studies, Spanish and Sociology. I have primarily worked with students ages 11-18 and work to help them to deal with the challenges they experience at this transitional age. Adolescence can be a challenging time in one’s life and I am excited to work with the students at Clark Middle School. I have found that I most enjoy working with this age group in helping them cope with and resolve their social, emotional and academic concerns.  As the School Services Provider, I provide counseling to students, assist teachers in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, facilitate social and coping skills groups, and am able to provide classroom enrichment activities.
